Michael Blaine is an associate in the Florham Park, NJ office and a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Michael's practice focuses on environmental, real estate and general commercial litigation. Michael also advises clients on electronic discovery matters including retention and production of electronically stored information.
In General. Michael received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and his M.B.A. from Drexel University. He was awarded his J.D. in 2006 from the Rutgers University School of Law in Newark, where he was a managing editor of the Rutgers Law Review. While in law school, Michael interned for the Hon. Barbara Byrd Wecker of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division and the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. He was also a teaching associate for the legal research and writing program at Rutgers.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Michael had an established career in the telecommunications industry, preceded by working as a highway design and construction engineer. He was a district manager and information technology consultant for AT&T and later served as a business development director for a venture capital funded information technology consultancy.
