Michael Biggs is a Senior Managing Director in the FTI healthcare practice and is based out of the Atlanta Office. Michael has more than 14 years of experience in healthcare. Michael is one of the leaders of FTI’s provider practice and leads the strategy and supply chain service offerings. Michael is focused on assisting health care organizations in improving their overall margin and developing market and positioning strategies. Michael’s training and background is in healthcare operations and finance.
Mr. Biggs has extensive experience in margin improvement for hospitals and has spent much of his career in implementing solutions in the broad operations / performance improvement, revenue cycle, supply chain, clinical documentation, and productivity areas. Michael has also served as a business advisor, and/or provided strategic planning advice to a wide array of integrated delivery systems, physician management companies, and national health insurers.
Mr. Biggs has over fourteen years of consulting experience, consisting of four years as a Managing Director in Navigant Consulting’s Healthcare Provider practice, where he was market leader for the East Region, one year as a founding Partner in Subsidium Health Advisors, a strategic advisory firm, over seven years in Arthur Andersen’s healthcare consulting division as an Industry Director in the Strategy and Performance Management practices, and over two years in Andersen Consulting’s System Integration practice as a Senior Consultant. |
