Michael W. Newbold joined Huntington as president of the Central Indiana Region following the 2007 merger with Sky Financial Group where he previously served as president of the Central Indiana Region. Prior to that role he was an executive vice president over investment management trust services wealth management consumer banking and bank operations at Union Federal Bank. With over 30 years in the financial services industry Newbold is a board member of the Executive Advisory Board of the Miller College of Business at Ball State University director of the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership director of the Indiana Bankers Association director of the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce member of the Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee a cabinet member of the United Way of Central Indiana and director of Greenwood Community Schools Holding Corporation. Newbold is a graduate of Ball State University and The Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
