With more than 30 years management experience at enterprise software companies, Mr. Fields has a track record of leadership at large corporations including Oracle U.S.A, where he served as president; Applied Data Research; and Burroughs Corporation. In addition, he was a founder, chairman, and CEO of OpenVision Technologies which he led to a public offering in 1996 and acquisition by VERITAS in 1997. Mr. Fields joined KANA in September, 2005. Under his leadership, in 2006 KANA achieved its first annual operating profit in company history. Currently, Mr. Fields serves on the board of directors of Imation Corporation [Nasdaq: IMN], and two privately held companies,ViaNovus and Crucian Global Services. He has also served on the advisory board of the Ford Motor Company Customer Service Division from 1999 through 2001. He began his career in the technology industry in 1964 in the U.S. Air Force. |
