Michael R. McDonnell CPA is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of MCG Capital Corporation (Nasdaq: MCGC). Michael is responsible for the overall financial and operating performance of the Company and has direct oversight of accounting tax finance human resources investor relations and loan administration.
Prior to joining MCG Michael was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of EchoStar Communications Corporation which is the #2 satellite video provider and a Fortune 500 Company. During Michael’s tenure at EchoStar the company completed $6.7 billion of debt and equity transactions primarily through capital market transactions and grew from approximately 4 million to over 10 million subscribers. Prior to joining EchoStar in 2000 Michael spent 14 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP where he was admitted as a partner in 1996.
Michael is a licensed CPA and has a BS in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. |
