Mr. Cannizzaro joined J.W. Childs Associates in May 2001. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Beltone Electronics from 1998 until June 2000 when he sold the company to GN ReSound. Prior to joining Beltone Electronics, Mr. Cannizzaro was President of Caremark International's Prescription Service Division from 1994 to 1997. During 1993, he was President of Leica North America. From 1976 to 1993, Mr. Cannizzaro was with Baxter Healthcare Corporation where he successfully managed several different divisions as President, and from 1971 to 1976, he held sales and marketing positions with Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo. Mr. Cannizzaro serves as the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Cornerstone Healthcare Group and Insight Health Services. He is Vice Chairman of Sheridan Healthcare and a Director of Universal Hospital Services. He was integrally involved in the sale of National Nephrology Associates to Renal Care Group in July 2004.
