Professional Experience
Mr. Keller has spent the last 27 years involved with all phases of domestic and international Intellectual Property law, including litigation, patents, trademarks,trade secrets, copyrights, unfair competition and the Lanham Act.
Mr. Keller has been responsible for the preparation and prosecution of United States and foreign patent applications in chemical process technology, and chemical and mechanical arts. He also has extensive experience before the International Trade Commission in Section 337 Investigation.
Prior to joining Weston, Benshoof, Mr. Keller was Chief Patent Counsel at the California Institute of Technology, where he was responsible for all intellectual property matters involving Caltech and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. These matters included the licensing of Caltech Intellectual Property, policing of Caltech´s intellectual property rights, and negotiating corporate sponsored research at Caltech and JPL.
