Michael Henry joins Alpine Group Inc. after serving seven years in the U.S. House of Representatives. Most recently he served as a Professional Staff Member for the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Highways and Transit Subcommittee. Prior to his work there he served several years as a Professional Staff Member of the House Resources Committee. Mr. Henry first served on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Assistant to Rep. Don Young (R-AK) now Chairman of the House Transportation Committee.
A native of Alaska Mr. Henry serves as Vice President of the Alaska Society a post he has held since 1997. He is also a founding member and previous Vice President of the Safari Club International's DC Metro Chapter and a member of the Board of the Atean Society a group of Washington area young professionals that raises money for local charities.
Mr. Henry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational and human resources management from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is married to Sarah Tavernetti Henry and they reside on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C |
