In June 2005, Mike Luttati was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Photronics and named to the Company's Board of Directors. Over the course of his 28 year career, with over 22 spent in the Semiconductor capital equipment business, he has held leadership positions in sales, marketing and operations. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Luttati was a leading member of the executive management team at Axcelis Technologies, Inc., where during the past seven years, he served the company in a variety of positions before being appointed to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Before joining Axcelis, Mr. Luttati served for fifteen years at Teradyne, Inc., with his last assignment as Vice President of North American Field Operations.
Initial focus areas Mr. Luttati will be concentrating on in his first year include: positioning Photronics to accelerate its penetration into the most advanced photomask technology applications; identifying new markets into which the Company can extend its core competencies, such as the fabrication of photomasks for flat panel display production and other complimentary applications; identifying ways through which Photronics' manufacturing networks in Asia, Europe and North America can me more uniformly streamlined into a an efficient global service organization; and to further strengthen Photronics' overall financial performance.
Mr. Luttati received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology, Electrical Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1977.
He also serves as a member of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Albert Dorman Honors College Board of Visitors. |
