Michael J. Dwyer is head of Godfrey & Kahn's Real Estate Practice Group and is chair of the Firm's Technology Committee. Michael is experienced in a wide variety of real estate matters, ranging from buying, selling, leasing and financing real estate to private placement syndications. He has an active practice representing landlords and tenants in the retail industry and also represents a number of developers and investors active in the commercial real estate market. He has experience managing large, multi-state real estate transactions, yet has the professional flexibility to handle the more typical real estate matters generated by the Firm's clientele on a timely and cost-effective basis. Michael received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. He is a member of the Order of the Coif, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association and is currently serving as Chairman of the Land and Development Committee of the Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation.
