Dr. DuMond is a Research Economist who joined ERS Group in 2001. He performs economic and statistical analyses of employment issues relating to gender, race, ethnicity and age. He also constructs and analyzes databases for employment litigation and monitoring purposes. Before joining ERS Group, Dr. DuMond was Director of Finance for the Franchise Division of Blockbuster Inc. overseeing an 800+ store operation. He developed models and conducted studies to determine site selection, predict cannibalization from over-development, and pinpoint optimal pricing strategies. Dr. DuMond has a Ph.D. in Economics from Florida State University and has published research on compensation issues in such professional journals as the Industrial and Labor Relations Review and Economic Inquiry. He is also an adjunct Professor at Florida State University, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in labor economics and SAS programming. |
