Michael J. Brenner is Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and a Director of our general partner. Mr. Brenner, who joined our company in 1996, is responsible for the management of the finance, information systems and human resources divisions of our company. Mr. Brenner was a managing partner of the Industry Programs and Client Satisfaction initiatives at Coopers & Lybrand from 1993 to 1996, managing partner of their Detroit group of offices from 1986 to 1993, and chairman of its National Real Estate Industry Group from 1984 to 1986. From 1977 to 1984, Mr. Brenner was a general practice partner in the Detroit office of Coopers & Lybrand, specializing in services to clients in the real estate industry. He is a director of Charter Municipal Mortgage Acceptance Company and Aegis Realty, Inc. Mr. Brenner graduated from the University of Detroit with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and from the University of Michigan with a Master's degree in Business Administration.
