Michael counsels Calfee’s closely and publicly-held clients on general corporate matters, and more specifically, on the business and legal aspects of contract matters, corporate structuring, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations. Michael negotiates and orchestrates mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures for a wide range of companies and industries. His experience with private equity funds helps him assist clients in capital formation matters, including venture and mezzanine capital and other private equity financings. Michael is a member of the American, Ohio and Cleveland Bar Associations and also serves on the Advancement Council for The University of Akron College of Business Administration. Michael was an associate with Frost & Jacobs in Cincinnati, Ohio before joining Calfee in 1996. He became a partner with the firm in 2003. |
