Mr. Forgash is a Managing Partner and founding member of Zon Capital Partners. His twenty year career was primarily in the software and services industry where he twice led companies as CEO to successful acquisitions. Mr. Forgash leveraged these skills into a successful venture capital career in 1998. Prior to the formation of Zon Capital, he was an officer and head of the e-Commerce and Software practice area for Safeguard Scientifics (SFE), a publicly traded (NYSE) venture capital holding company. He was responsible for venture transactions totaling in excess of $135 million and was a member of ten portfolio company boards, including three he assisted in their IPO process. Prior to joining Safeguard, Mr. Forgash led two information technology companies. He was President of Continental Healthcare Systems, a healthcare information systems and services company. Following the successful trade sale of Continental, he became CEO of Creative Multimedia, an Internet professional services company. which designed and delivered Internet solutions for businesses. He led and managed all aspects of Creative Multimedia, including a complete restructuring, leading to the eventual sale of the business. Mr. Forgash began his technology business career at Shared Medical Systems in sales and marketing. Mr. Forgash sits on the boards of Aviom, Federation, Satori Group, Smart Destinations, SmartTime Software and the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group. He holds a business degree from Duke University. |
