Graphcom’s President is Michael A. First. After graduating from Radford University in Virginia in 1989 with a degree in Finance, Michael began his printing industry career as an estimator for Graphcom. In 1992 Michael became production manger and ran manufacturing for 5 years before going into sales. Michael’s ongoing commitment to the industry encouraged his service on several PIAG committees including Special Events and Member Services. In 1999 Michael joined the Sales and Marketing Executive program through the Printing Industries of America. In December 2000 Graphcom moved into a new, larger facility. At that point, Michael became the Vice President for Sales in 2001. Michael was promoted to President of Graphcom in January 2002, and resides over the Graphcom Executive Committee. When the company was acquired by Consolidated Graphics in 2006, Michael was the perfect person to remain at the helm and guide Graphcom to increased revenue and stability.
