Mr. Kato is responsible for the management and strategic planning of corporate financial and investor relations activities for the company. In addition, Mr. Kato oversees all finance functions including planning, internal and external reporting, tax, treasury, accounting and revenue recognition.
Prior to joining MIPS Technologies, he was controller for the MIPS Group at Silicon Graphics Inc. Previously, Mr. Kato spent 15 years at Apple Computer, Inc. in various financial and operations management positions in support of product development, product marketing, manufacturing, sales and distribution organizations.
Mr. Kato holds a B.S. degree in business administration (accounting) from San Jose State University. |
