Meredith Short brings to Corporate DevelopMint a broad spectrum of communications experience in a variety of fields.
After having served as a freelance writer for international business clients and as the Communications and Logistics Director for a solar energy provider Meredith assumed several positions in the non-profit field. At The Parrish Art Museum and the Hamptons International Film Festival, she developed a taste for non-profit programs and a writing style that impacted both the organizations’ marketing and development efforts.
As Director of Research and Communications, Meredith is responsible for all internal and external communication generation. On the client-facing side, Meredith works with leadership to develop an organization’s message and to articulate their vision in a concise, compelling Case for Support. Internally, she spearheads Corporate DevelopMint’s marketing efforts including branding, website development, newsletters, public relations, and conference participation.
Meredith obtained a B.A. in English from James Madison University in Virginia and a Masters in Film and Visual Communication from The American University in Washington, DC. As part of her Masters program, she spent a semester studying filmmaking under Oscar-winning director, Jiri Menzel, at the prestigious FAMU Institute in Prague. |
