Melissa is a Southern California native, graduating from San Dieguito High School. Her college undergraduate work has been in the court reporting and paralegal field. Prior to coming to ISN Network, Melissa was the operations manager for a local independent insurance broker’s firm. During those eight years, she contributed to the growth of that firm by developing marketing plans and organizing office systems. Melissa takes pride in knowing first-hand the trials and successes of independent brokers out in the field. Melissa joined the ISN Network team in 2004 as Marketing Manager. From that time, her responsibilities have grown rapidly. She has since been promoted to the Director of New Business, and is now the Vice President of Agency Administration. During her tenure at ISN, Melissa has cultivated a connection between the marketing and administrative departments at ISN. Although both departments have differing day-to-day practical objectives," Melissa said, "we all speak the same language. ‘It can be done.’Throughout the course of Melissa’s time with the ISN Network team, her duties have ranged from case design, providing life/annuity/disability quotes, participating in marketing initiatives, field underwriting, and shopping impaired risk cases. She is responsible for management of the new business, licensing, and accounting departments. A favorite responsibility for her is assisting ISN's producers with complicated or escalated issues pertaining to all administrative processing. Melissa truly enjoys putting every effort into accomplishing the most difficult challenges. The word 'team' is not used lightly at ISN," Melissa added. "Each Team member is has identified their own personal strengths. And each individual contributes greatly to the sum to our overall horse power. It inspires me to be a part of that. As a hobby, Melissa has maintained a State of California certification for aerobic instructing, and has taught weight lifting and kickboxing for a major fitness chain. She enjoys her work, and continues to put her best energy in to the exemplary service and growth that ISN Network has consistently shown its clients. |
