Meghan is a member of Lindquist & Vennum’s litigation practice group. She assists clients with commercial and general business litigation, including cases involving insurance recovery, condemnation, construction, telecommunications, and transportation. She is known for her outstanding writing, speaking and analytical skills, as well as her professionalism in communicating with opposing counsel and the court.Examples of Meghan’s experience include a complex three-year condemnation case involving a client group of 70 landowners against a municipal authority. She has also represented homeowners in construction-defect cases and policyholders in liability and life insurance recovery cases. Meghan has a deep commitment to pro bono work. She has successfully argued two political-asylum cases for Ethiopian nationals, serves on Lindquist & Vennum’s public service committee, and in 2006 participated in the Pro Bono Institute’s national conference. Before joining Lindquist & Vennum, Meghan worked as a legal extern for the Land Loss Prevention Project in Durham, North Carolina, and as a legislative aide for Wisconsin state senator Alberta Darling. She is a member of the American, Federal, Minnesota, and Wisconsin bar associations. |
