Maureen practices in the area of health care law. Her experience includes advising hospitals and other health care facilities, physician groups, networks and managed care organizations on health care regulatory and contractual matters, including fraud and abuse and Stark issues, Medicare reimbursement issues, HIPAA and privacy laws, corporate compliance, licensure issues, managed care and network participation arrangements and services arrangements with vendors and other health care providers. She is also experienced in health care transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate restructuring. Maureen previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Flemming L. Norcott, Jr., of the Connecticut Supreme Court.
