Maureen Powers has served as our Vice President, Human Resources since June 2007. From 2004 to 2007 she served as Director and then Senior Director, Human Resources where she led Cubist’s Training and Development, Recruiting and Employee Relations functions. Ms. Powers joined the company in September 2003 as the first HR business partner for R&D. Prior to joining Cubist; Ms. Powers had more than 15 years of Human Resources experience in a variety of industries. From 2001 through 2002 Ms. Powers served as director of Business Partnerships at Pappas & Pappas Consulting a boutique Human Resources consulting firm. From 2000 to 2001, she served as a People Strategy Lead at Sapient Corporation and from 1994 through 1999 she held various positions of increasing responsibility at Work/Family Directions Inc. (WFD) including Vice President of Human Resources. Ms. Powers began her HR career at Burns & Levinson and The Boston Company. Ms. Powers received a B.A. from Saint Mary's College. |
