Maureen E. Daley has over twelve years of trial experience and has successfully litigated cases in Pennsylvania courts and United States District Court. In addition to an active trial practice, Ms. Daley serves as a Judge Pro Tem for the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County. Ms. Daley devotes her practice to the defense of corporate entities including commercial motor vehicle matters, products and premise liability, environmental exposure and insurance coverage matters. Maureen has represented her clients in counties throughout Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia and the surrounding counties, as well as, Lehigh, Dauphin, Cumberland, Monroe and Allegheny counties. Additionally, Ms. Daley serves as National Coordinating Counsel in products liability litigation and provides representation in various states including Ohio, Mississippi, Texas, Florida and California. Maureen is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and has been admitted pro hac vice in the state of Delaware. Ms. Daley has lectured on behalf of Pennsylvania Bar Institute in a series titled Arbitration Practices and has been engaged to present a class entitled Legal Methods. At the request of clients, Maureen has provided presentations on Products Liability, Worker’s Compensation Law, Federal Evidence Standards and Commercial Motor Vehicle Liability. Ms. Daley serves as Vice Chair of the Products and General Litigation Section of the American Bar Association and is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Philadelphia Bar Association and the Joint Claims Associations for the Greater Philadelphia Area. Ms. Daley serves on the Alzheimer’s Advocacy Committee for National Alzheimer’s Association and is a contributing member of Volunteers for the Indigent Program (VIP). Maureen was recognized as a Rising Star in the Legal Profession. Rising Stars are the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in Pennsylvania who are 40 years or under or have been in practice for 10 years or less. |
