Matt Jannerbo is an attorney in Miller & Martin's corporate department. His practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities and general business representation. Mr. Jannerbo advises clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions of middle-market companies on a nationwide basis. He represents both buyers and sellers in transactions generally ranging in size from $5 million to $50 million. He works with financial buyer clients as well as persons who are buying or selling a business for the first time. In the last three years he has worked on transactions totaling in excess of $300 million in purchase price. Mr. Jannerbo also advises companies raising capital by way of public offerings of securities, private placements of securities and venture capital financings. He has assisted companies in a number of industries which include: banking, apparel, furniture, food distribution, restaurant, cosmetics, motion pictures, biodiesel, environmental clean-up technology, information technology and real estate. Mr. Jannerbo has also assisted a number of private equity funds, hedge funds and investment partnerships with respect to their private capital raising efforts. Mr. Jannerbo's practice involves the general representation of businesses with respect to general business and tax matters. He also negotiates software licensing and technology agreements for both technology companies and end users. A native of Sweden, Mr. Jannerbo works with a number of Swedish and Norwegian companies with respect to their business activities in the United States. In addition to the type of work described above, he also works with other Miller & Martin attorneys to provide representation in the areas of intellectual property protection, tax incentives and tax planning. He is fluent in Swedish.
