Experience:
Matthew is a commercial litigation lawyer whose practice has covered licensing, commercial property, tax, trust and general contract matters. His clients include a range of corporate and professional clients. In recent years, he has focussed on the financial services sector and he has extensive experience of large-scale disputes, often acting for Big 4 accountancy firms. Prior to joining Mayer Brown, Matthew was a member of the award-winning team working on the Equitable Life litigation. In 2006, the team was named Litigation Team of the Year by The Lawyer, Legal Business and Legal Week.
Matthew has written many articles for legal publications, presents seminars on a range of topics covering legal and procedural developments and has spoken at roadshows and conferences on risk management issues for accountants and the duties and liabilities of non-executive directors.
