Matthew Kabaker is a Principal in the Corporate Private Equity group and is based in New York. Since joining Blackstone in 1998, Mr. Kabaker has been involved in Blackstone’s investments in the London International Financial Futures & Options Exchange (LIFFE), Aspen Insurance, Ariel Re, HealthMarkets, TRW Automotive, Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (FGIC), SunGard, and Michaels Stores. Mr. Kabaker received a BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Kabaker serves as a Director of Ariel Re, TRW Automotive, FGIC, HealthMarkets, and Michaels Stores. |
