Mr. Rubins graduated from Cornell University in 1990 with a BS in applied and engineering physics and received an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1995. Both prior to and after business school, Mr. Rubins was a financial analyst and then Associate in the media and telecommunications groups at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. In 1996, Mr. Rubins joined the Deutsche Morgan Grenfell Technology Group as an Assistant Vice President in the telecommunications and data networking areas. Since Mr. Rubins joined M/C Partners in 1997 he has sourced or worked on a variety of transactions in the broadband wireless, ISP, CLEC, enterprise infrastructure, telecom software and IT services industries. He has served on the Boards of nine portfolio companies and currently serves on the Board of Directors of HyPerformix, SecureMedia, Viola Networks, and Vertical Communications. |
