Matt Murphy became Vice President of Worldwide Sales in November 2006. Mr. Murphy joined Maxim in 1994 in customer service, and transferred into business management in the Standard Products Business Unit in 1995. During the next several years he managed several of product lines and advanced in the organization. Mr. Murphy developed broad, international experience in the Company's standard analog product portfolio and launched several successful new businesses in the areas of high-voltage ICs, protection circuits, and high-bandwidth analog switches. Prior to his appointment as Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Mr. Murphy was Managing Director of the Interface, Switch, and Protection Business Unit. In his current executive position, Mr. Murphy has global responsibility for all field activities, which includes sales, applications engineering, distribution, and customer service. Mr. Murphy holds a BA degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. |
