Matthew J. Fedor is an associate in the firm’s Communications Litigation Practice Group. Matt concentrates his practice on complex business disputes and class action litigation.
Litigation and Appellate Representation. A significant portion of Matt’s practice is dedicated to representing nationally-recognized communications providers in consumer class actions, contract disputes, and various other types of litigation. He also counsels and represents other companies and individuals in commercial litigation matters involving contract disputes, insurance coverage, consumer fraud, non-compete covenants, tortious interference, negligence, commercial leasing, and other general business disputes. Matt has successfully represented clients in appeals before the New Jersey Supreme Court and the New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.
In General. Matt received his J.D., summa cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2002, and his B.S., cum laude, from Rutgers University in 1997. During law school, Matt served as an editor for the Seton Hall Law Review. His law review article was published in Volume 32 of the Seton Hall Law Review and he received the 2001-2002 award for Best Student Article. Prior to attending law school, Matt worked for one of the largest insurance companies in the United States.
Matt joined the firm following clerkships with New Jersey Supreme Court Justice Peter G. Verniero and U.S. District Judge Katharine S. Hayden. While in law school, Matt served as an intern for U.S. District Judge Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr. |
