Matthew D. Whitworth is a Partner of Meyer, Unkovic & Scott LLP and a member of the firm's Real Estate and Banking Law Group.Mr. Whitworth has been involved in a wide array of real property transactions, including the sale, leasing and purchase of office buildings, retail facilities such as shopping centers, apartment complexes, industrial sites, manufacturing facilities and condominium projects. Mr. Whitworth regularly assists clients in the structuring and negotiation of sale and purchase transactions and counsels clients through the due diligence process. In addition, Mr. Whitworth represents several major lending institutions, including local banks and national insurance companies, in all aspects of commercial real estate and corporate lending transactions.Mr. Whitworth, a native of Pittsburgh, graduated in 1992 from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1995 where he served as a board editor of the William and Mary Law Review. |
