Most recently, Mr. Wagner served as Senior District Executive with the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) for five years. During his tenure, he succeeded in strengthening BSA financial campaigns by building consensus between community and business leaders, and forming strategic relationships with key individuals and corporations. In addition, Matt was responsible for planning, marketing, and executing various fundraising campaigns and events to expand the BSA program. His diverse experience includes strategic planning, building relationships, project management, and locating funding sources. Matt's strong background combining community service with positive outcomes for business will help to strengthen local economies and create opportunities for entrepreneurs and business owners. Mr. Wagner is a four-time award winner of the prestigious National Distinguished Executive Award from the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and continues to serve the BSA as an Eagle Scout and a member of the Okaw Valley Council (Belleville, Illinois). He is an active member of various civic and business organizations, including Rotary International. A proud graduate of McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science, he played on the Men's Golf Team at both Southeast Missouri State University and McKendree University. |
