Matt joined Shunra in 2007 and is responsible for all corporate marketing, product marketing, product management and demand generation activities for Shunra’s suite of WAN emulation and application performance testing solutions. He has over 12 years of technology industry experience and previously led product marketing for Expertcity (acquired by Citrix Systems in March 2004), where he helped the SaaS division, renamed Citrix Online, obtain multi-industry leadership. In late 2004 Matt directed the e-commerce and SMB market launch of the world’s fastest growing web conferencing solution, GoToMeeting. Until his departure in 2007, Matt was responsible for the go-to-market strategies of the company’s on-demand solutions, including the #1 remote access and #1 remote desktop support services, GoToMyPC and GoToAssist. Before his departure, he again redefined the web conferencing marketplace with the launch of GoToWebinar. Matt has held leadership positions in Sales and Marketing for Citrix Systems, Tidal Software, Platinum Technology (acquired by Computer Associates in May 1999) and EDS. Matt holds an MBA from the California State University, Sacramento and a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Business/Economics and Political Science from U.C. Santa Barbara.
