Matt Hawkins, Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Matt Hawkins' background is in sales, sales management, marketing and technology. As an award-winning sales representative at division of Eastman Kodak, Mr. Hawkins increased territory sales by 100% during his first two years with the company. He later became marketing manager for NCH Corporation, a former Fortune 500 chemical manufacturing company, where he was promoted four times in five years of service. While at NCH, Mr. Hawkins was responsible for new product development, new product introductions and market identification. He also co-managed the automation of the company's 1100-member sales force. As a regional sales manager and then division manager, Mr. Hawkins increased his group size by over 150% each year and realized significant sales increases as a result.
In the late 1990's, Mr. Hawkins co-founded an IT outsourcing company with an office in Mumbai , India . The company, created to capitalize on a fundamental supply and demand imbalance for software programming and infrastructure applications, has over 30 programmers on staff in the Mumbai office. Concurrently, Mr. Hawkins worked with several firms in developing business and strategic plans that not only addressed growth opportunities, but also external capitalization requirements and exit strategies.
In 2000, Mr. Hawkins served as a director with Hull and Associates, a turnaround management firm with a 25-year track record of success in stabilizing and maximizing asset values through court-ordered receiverships, corporate turnarounds, and debt workouts. In 2002, he began consulting to Platinum Research Organization and shortly thereafter became the company's Director of Sales and Marketing.
Mr. Hawkins graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. |
