Matt L.T. Harnett is an Associate with F.N.B. Capital Corporation. In this position, Mr. Harnett facilitates the investment sourcing and marketing activities of the firm, conducts in-depth research and analysis of private equity and mezzanine debt investment opportunities, and assists senior professionals in structuring, researching, and negotiating investments in target companies.
Prior to his employment with F.N.B. Capital Corporation, Mr. Harnett spent his last 4 years at Ford Motor Company, rotating through seven field positions in Operations, Finance, and Marketing as part of Ford’s Management Program. Most recently, Mr. Harnett was a Zone Manager for the largest zone in the Great Lakes Market - Pittsburgh Region where he managed over $200 million in combined retail sales. In this position, he was responsible for his zone’s collective market share growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability of both his zone and his assigned individual dealers. He also assisted his dealers in every aspect of managing their franchises, including financial reporting, marketing, operations, sales forecasts, production ordering, and maintaining the correct working capital and financial ratios. Mr. Harnett also assisted senior management in competitive intelligence and market representation actions for dealer placements and consolidations. Mr. Harnett received the National 2006 Zone Manager of the Year" award from Ford Operations.
Prior to joining Ford, Mr. Harnett was an Investment Field Analyst for the Danter Company, where he conducted on-site market feasibility studies for both market-rate and government subsidized real estate investments. Prior to that, Mr. Harnett earned his Series 6 and life, health, and disability insurance licenses and became Financial Planner for Northwester Mutual Financial Network. He became the top producing college financial planner in Columbus, OH. During his second year there, he was made the College Unit Director, managing a team of ten financial planners. Under his leadership, the team’s sales production nearly tripled in one year.
Mr. Harnett earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a double-major in Marketing and Supply Chain Management & Logistics from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business, graduating on the Dean’s List. He currently resides in Wexford, PA. |
