Matt Cheney is CEO of MMA Renewable Ventures, the business of the Company responsible for financing and investing in facilities that generate renewable energy. Mr. Cheney joined MuniMae in 2006 in connection with the Company's acquisition of Renewable Ventures. Prior to establishing Renewable Ventures, Mr. Cheney was CEO of NUON Renewable Ventures USA LLC, and Director of North American Business Development for NV in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Mr. Cheney has more than twenty-five years in civil engineering, energy, and environment, including experience with the U.S. Agency for International Development in South America, the National Rural Electric Co-op Association's International Programs, the U.S. Department of Energy in energy policy, and as the Director of the Utility PhotoVoltaic Group, now the Solar Electric Power Association. Mr. Cheney has a B.S. from The American University and a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies. |
