Mr. Vega has about thirty years of experience in international corporate, commercial and financial transactions. He has represented both private and public sector clients in a variety of transactions including: domestic and international joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions; commodities transactions, including long-term supply arrangements, acquisitions and pre-export financings in the oil, petrochemicals, coal, alumina, aluminum, bauxite, copper, zinc, scrap and other sectors; investments and concessions in the telecommunications, oil, petrochemicals, water supply and mining industries; project finance, securitizations, syndicated loans and other financings; information technology outsourcing contracts; and hotel and tourism development projects, including construction contracts and operation and license agreements with hotel operating companies. Although his practice extends over various regions, a large number of transactions have involved Latin America. Mr. Vega is admitted to the Bars of the State of New York and the Supreme Court of the United States.
