Mary O’Hara-Zimmerman is the Vice President Regulatory and Quality for Cerexa Inc. with responsibility for creating and implementing regulatory strategies to support both domestic and international development. Ms. O’Hara-Zimmerman has over 17 years of experience in regulatory affairs. She previously held the position of Vice President Regulatory Affairs at Peninsula Pharmaceuticals and was also a Director Regulatory Affairs at Chiron Corporation with worldwide responsibility for infectious disease and oncology products. Prior to joining Chiron Ms. O’Hara-Zimmerman spent six years at Syntex gaining increasing responsibility in various roles within their regulatory organization. Ms. O’Hara-Zimmerman also has extensive experience as an independent consultant to the bio pharmaceutical industry supporting pre IND Phase 1 through Phase 3 programs market applications advisory committee meetings and responses to Regulatory Authorities’ request for additional information. Ms. O’Hara-Zimmerman holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in biochemistry from the California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo.
