Mary Mirabal joined the company in 2001 as Operations Manager. Since joining the company she has held various management positions and was recently promoted to Vice President of Operations. Mary has more than 15 years experience in the insurance and financial services industries working for both private and public companies. Mary's professional background includes sales, marketing and management. She began her career at Brown & Brown Inc. (formerly Poe & Brown Inc.) in 1994 as a Marketing Manager where she was the leading employee benefits salesperson. Mary enjoyed progressive advancements during her tenure at Brown & Brown; first as Assistant Manager of Association Marketing Services, and then as Distribution Manager where she managed a network of 150 independent agents for commercial property and casualty insurance programs generating $23 million in annual premium volume. As Assistant Manager of the Association Marketing Services division Mary was responsible for the operations and management of a direct-response telemarketing and telesales operation. Prior to joining Brown & Brown, she worked for 10 years as Office Manager for an independent financial planning company. |
