Senior Vice President, Underwriting, Scottish Re (U.S.), Inc.
Mary manages the company’s underwriting and administrative efforts, including the development and implementation of new reinsurance business processes.
Mary has 30 years of insurance underwriting experience, including a 14-year career with Mutual of New York, where she held the titles of Senior Underwriter, Director of life underwriting and issue, and Chief Underwriter. Immediately prior to joining Scottish Re, she was Assistant Vice President and Chief Underwriter with General & Cologne Life Re.
Her career also includes underwriting assignments with Kansas City Life, The Principal, and United Insurance Company. Mary received a B.S. degree in business from Columbia College, is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI) and has an Associate, Customer Service (ACS) designation. She is a member of the 3rd and 4th International Underwriting Congress planning teams, a program committee member for the Association of Home Office Underwriters, and program chairperson for the Carolina Home Office Underwriting Association. |
