Mary is an organizational development consultant and experienced executive search professional with a national practice covering diverse disciplines and functional positions. Her clients include emerging technology start-ups as well as Fortune 500 companies in computer systems and software, telecommunications, semiconductor, storage, consulting services, and public benefit organizations. Her experience with a broad range of organizations makes her uniquely qualified to help organizations understand what they need to do to grow and move forward. Prior to launching her own firm, Mary was the Western Region Vice President with a regional retained executive search firm which focuses on the high technology sector. She initiated her search career with Korn/Ferry International’s Silicon Valley Technology Practice. She has placed presidents and board members, as well as senior staff executives in marketing and sales, finance, manufacturing and operations, and research and development. Earlier experience includes Gartner Group/Dataquest, the largest global market research firm, where she was Director of Major Account Sales. Prior to that, Mary held leadership positions in the public benefit sectors where she served in capacities such as executive director and marketing and communications manager. Mary has worked with companies such as Hewlett Packard, Quantum, Lucent, Wipro, Borland/Starbase, Reed/Elsiver/Classroom Connect, Silicon Valley Law Foundation and Sun Microsystems. Throughout her career in the public, private and public benefit sectors, Mary has helped companies and organizations identify, develop and coach high potential executive leadership. She has also assisted organizations with board and staff issues, and in developing and executing strategies to scale growth. Mary is currently on the board of directors of Child Advocates of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Other experience includes serving on the board of The Silicon Valley Law Foundation where she was board president from 1993 through 1994.
