Mary Hill is a member of our Project Finance Team and is based in our Hong Kong Office. Acting for both lenders and sponsors in project finance transactions, Mary has extensive project finance experience. In addition to Mary's project finance experience, she has also has experience in leveraged acquisition finance, property finance, capital markets and financial products. Her recent representations include acting for a sponsor on a billion dollar rolling stock public private partnership, acting for Colony Capital on their recent investment in Challenger Financial Services Group, acting for the world's biggest iron ore miner (CRVD) on their acquisition of AMCI Holdings Australia and acting for a consortium of US based hedge funds on their acquisition of the world's leading global supplier of tantalum and lithium minerals (Talison Minerals).
She has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from Otago University, New Zealand. Prior to going the firm, Mary worked in the Sydney office of a large international firm and prior to that, for a large national New Zealand firm.
