At Navarre, Marvin Gleicher holds responsibility for all DVD content acquisitions for both Navarre Distribution Services and BCI. Prior to joining Navarre, Gleicher founded the North America division of Manga Entertainment Inc. which specialized in the marketing of Japanese animation. Manga Entertainment was acquired by IDT Entertainment in 2004, where Gleicher continued to serve as President of Manga Entertainment. At IDT, Gleicher’s responsibilities included acquisition, production and development of marketing strategies for entertainment content under the Manga Entertainment brand. Before founding Manga Entertainment Inc., Gleicher served as President of Smash/Island Records where he was instrumental in acquiring music talent for publishing and worldwide distribution in addition to building the visual media and music video product lines. |
