Marvin J. Spivak is a founding partner, officer, and a member of the firm's Board of Directors. He is also a coordinator in the Trademark and Litigation Departments. A former U.S. patent examiner, he received his Law degree, with honors, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics from the George Washington University.
He is a member of the Bars of the U.S. Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Supreme Court of Virginia, the Court of Appeals of Maryland, and the U.S. District Court for Washington, D.C. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the Association International for the Protection of Property Industrielle (AIPPI), the Federal Bar Association, the International Trademark Association (INTA), Intellectual Property Owners, Inc., and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association. |
