Martin worked for the New York Times in their sales department and newsroom for 7 years, resigning in 1985 to attend Fordham University in New York City where he majored in Political Science. After graduation, he built homes for Habitat for Humanity in Greensboro, North Carolina. In 1989, he started Woods Construction & Restoration, Inc. now known as Woods Restoration Services, LLC. with his brothers Philip and Timothy. Martin is Vice President in charge of Sales and Marketing for the company. In the past 17 years Woods Restoration Services, LLC has grown to eight offices in five states. Martin is also responsible for business development for all Woods Restoration Services offices. Martin has also served on the Board of Directors with the National Institute of Restoration, Inc. for the past seven years and has written a number of articles for industry publications and has participated in radio programs concerning insurance restoration. |
