Ing. Martin Novak graduated from the University of Economics in Prague and started his career as a tax advisor in Price Waterhouse in 1993. Then he went to Ceska rafinerska where he worked between 1996 and 2001, last as Controller Deputy Finance Director. Next 5 years he worked for Conoco in Houston and ConocoPhillips in London, in the years 2005 - 2006 as Financial Director for Central and Eastern Europe.
Since 2006, he has been working for CEZ as the director of accounting. During his time atCEZ Group, reporting of results has been accelerated significantly, many processes have been simplified, the number of the Group´s accounting departments has been reduced and the effectivity of provided services has been enhanced with direct impact on cost cutting. |
