Born on 11/14/1953, he obtained his Law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo – PUC/SP and a Business Administration degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV. He has been acting in the financial market for 30 years, having worked in national and multinational companies. He worked in the Capital Market area at BBA S/A and Schahin Cury S/A, and was Vice Chairman at Citibank S/A. In May 2005 he was elected Chairman of Fundação CESP, where he held the position of Investment and Equity Director from 1999 to 2005. He is a member of the Deliberative Council of ABRAPP, in which he took part in the National Technical Investment Committee, and was a member of the Brazilian Corporate Governance Institute - IBGC. He was a member of the Advisory Council of SELIC, Brazilian Securities & Exchange Commission - Comitê de Valores Mobiliários of ANDIMA, and of the Private Fixed Income Committee of BOVESPA. On 04/29/2005 he became a member of the Company´s Board of Directors, and was a member of the Fiscal Council and Board of Directors in previous management boards. |
