Martin D. Payson became a Director of the Company in 1996. Nassau County Executive Thomas R. Suozzi recently appointed Martin Payson, former vice chairman of Time Warner, Inc., and until recently a member of the Nassau County Interim Finance Board, as board chairman of the Nassau Health Care Corporation.
Prior to the merger of Time, Inc. and Warner Communications, Inc., Mr. Payson held the position of Office of the President and General Counsel of Warner Communications, Inc., of which he also was a Director for 14 years.
Mr. Payson also serves on the Board of Directors of Panavision, Inc., Classic Communications Inc., and Carl Marks & Co., Inc. He has also served on the board of several companies over the past 20 years, including Information Holdings, Inc., Classic Communications, Global Decisions Group LLC, Bestform Group, Inc., Renaissance Communications Corp., Meridian Sports, Inc. and AVX Corporation. |
