Marsha Morien serves as Administrator, Computer Assisted Medicine and Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Administrative Director, Center for Biosecurity at the University of Nebraska. She is responsible for program development in the areas of minimally invasive and robotic surgery; software applications for medical specialties; and the enhancement of clinical, educational, and research oriented biosecurity preparedness for Nebraska and the nation. Prior to her current positions, MS. Morien was a member of the senior management team at the University Hospital, University of Nebraska Medical Center. A chief interest was her responsibilities for directing the operations, growth, and development of the liver, small bowel, heart, lung, kidney and pancreas transplant programs in partnership with transplant surgeons and physicians. A major accomplishment was the grand opening of The Lied Transplant Center. Ms. Morien received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in economics and business from Alfred University and a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration from Indiana University.She is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. |
