Marsha Beidler is of counsel in the firm's Private Client Group.
Areas of Concentration. Marsha concentrates her law practice on estate tax planning and probate law. As part of this practice, Marsha annually prepares approximately 200 trusts, wills and other documents providing for the transfer of assets. She also assists clients in the administration of estates and trusts and has represented individuals and estates in tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities.
Marsha has often lectured on the subject of estate planning for various companies and organizations, including the pre-retirement programs of Princeton University, Rutgers University, Coca-Cola, Squibb, SmithKline Beecham and French and North American Philips Lighting Company and at seminars for various professional groups. Marsha was employed by the Internal Revenue Service in the Estate and Gift Tax Section from 1972 through 1976. Since 1976, she has been engaged in the private practice of law in Princeton, New Jersey.
Bar and Committee Memberships. Marsha is a member of the Tax Section and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association.
Community and Professional Activities. Marsha has served on the board of directors of several nonprofit organizations. She is a Fellow in the American College of Trusts and Estates Counsel and a member of the Mercer County Estate Planning Council for which she has served as secretary in the past. She is a certified tax lawyer in Florida. |
