Mark Soufleris joined the Clearwater Office of Sanford Rose Associates following a successful twenty-eight year commercial career in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

In the nearly ten years prior to joining the Clearwater office, he served at the Vice President level for Nabi Biopharmaceuticals. During his tenure at Nabi, Mark directed several new product launches of life saving medicines while serving as the company’s Vice President of Marketing. These included products in the hemophilia, liver transplant and hematology / oncology therapeutic areas. He also served as the Vice President of Investor and Public Relations and directed the company’s IR / PR efforts. During his tenure, Nabi was able to increase the number of financial analysts covering the company from one to fourteen and the market capitalization of the company experienced a four-fold increase to total over $1 billion.

Mark has also held senior level marketing positions of increasing responsibility including Director and Vice President levels at Bristol-Myers, Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories, Novo Nordisk, and SoloPak. He has been involved in several new product launches in a variety of therapeutic areas including anti-infectives, hematology / oncology, diabetes, cardiovascular and CNS agents and has also successfully repositioned a number of products that have resulted in reinvigorated life cycles. In addition to a diverse pharmaceutical background, he has also directed the launches of several injectable drug delivery devices.

Mark received a Bachelors of Arts in Zoology from the University of Vermont and a Masters in Public Administration from Syracuse University. In addition, he has successfully completed extensive training in professional interviewing skills, candidate assessment and the executive search process.
