Mark Sarro is a principal in LECG's Cambridge office. He is a financial economist who specializes in developing and applying financial models to analyze business practices, economic incentives, public policies, and valuation. He also is an experienced litigation consultant in matters involving telecommunications, financial contracts and transactions, technology and ecommerce, and healthcare economics. He frequently identifies and works with individual or multiple testifying experts. Much of his work has focused on analyzing businesses, strategies, and market conditions in the wireless telecommunications industry, in which he has developed highly-specific knowledge. In addition, he has led major assignments involving accounting issues, bankruptcy, breach of contract, corporate control, financial reporting, intellectual property rights, and securities matters.
Prior to joining LECG, Dr. Sarro was a member of The Brattle Group and Putnam, Hayes, & Bartlett. He also was an independent consultant to corporate clients and taught economics at Boston College. He holds a B.A. magna cum laude from Fairfield University in Economics and English Writing, with a Politics minor. He also holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston College, with concentrations in public finance and monetary economics. |
